There are a kajillion sites on SEO today.
Even more that offer SEO services.
99% of them are same re-cycled, re-hashed, royal crap-o-la of the same information beaten to death over and over again.
It’s downright sad.
It’s like there is hardly any innovation in the SEO world.
Every SEO is running like a chicken with it’s head cut off, trying to bag a client.
So when you do see someone who goes even slightly against the grain, they stick out like a sore thumb.
On that note, here are my favorite experts who have helped me become a master in SEO,
When I need help, these are the guys I reach out to.
Matthew Woodward | MatthewWoodward.co.uk
If it wasn’t for Matthew, I would be NOT doing SEO. Just a few years ago, I unfortunately fell victim to the lie that “SEO is dead”. Link building wasn’t working as well and if you can’t rank a site, you are literally out of business.
In my case, it would be out of a career. Not the best place to be when you are literally your only support.
This is when I reached out to Matthew and for free, he helped me get back on track. In fact, I haven’t looked back since. This guy is an award winning blogger for a reason.
Not only his SEO game is on point but he’s an incredible person. I mean who offers free career saving SEO advice to strangers? Matt does.
A tactic that you can use right now that Matt goes on about in great detail is internal linking.
Doug Cunnington | Niche Site Project
Another legend in the making is Doug. Probably the nicest dude in the game. Not only that, he’s been featured on Ahrefs. Doug’s claim to fame was creating amazon affiliate sites that made real money. Like $12 to $15k a month.
That’s in USD or almost $18000 Canadian. He also recently sold a site for over 200k after documenting the ENTIRE JOUNEY on how he did it..
Yup! He’s the real deal.
What set’s Doug apart though is he is not just loaded with information but is a great coach as well. I took his coaching program and I can’t tell you how much his content creating ideas have helped my personal sites and my clients as well.
If you always wanted to learn about proper keyword research, content generation and especially Amazon, this guy is the real deal.
So the these are my current go to guys.
Go ‘TWO’ 😉
As you can see, out of the tons of “experts” out there, I don’t waste my time everywhere.
If I find something that works, I stick with it.
Results are the only thing that matter anyways.
Plus if you are having fun doing it than it makes it all even better.
Here are a few more resources that I randomly look at.
Ben | Authority Income
I’m sure I came across Ben’s previousSEO blog before but it was only recently that I found Authority Income.
Man this guy is on another level. How many people do you know that have made over a million dollars in just 30 days. Well Ben did just recently and all by using Cryptocurrency.
I have no clue about Crypto or have any interest in it but some of the information he shares is really fascinating (Mind blowing actually).
I strictly stay focused on things I’m good at so most of the info he shares is not really my cup of tea. That said, I do LOVE seeing people accomplish big things every now and then.
Anyways, Ben’s site isn’t your typical site. I highly recommend Ben’s work for any online business owner.
PS: He doesn’t really look like that. Nobody knows how he looks like. I understand.
Stewart Walker | Nichehacks.
One of my favorite sites on marketing and SEO of all time. I love the simple WordPress design Stewart’s site uses but the information again is second to none.
Their speciality is uncovering various niches around the internet and then diving really deep in them. I mean super deep!
With tons of case studies of reverse engineering successful sites, NicheHacks is truly an amazing resource.
The case study they did on ThisIsWhyImBroke is my favorite (I learned a lot here). Love how people put new twists on existing ideas and than reap the benefits.
With hundreds of articles that are jam packed with information, you are bound to learn something. Out of all the blogs that I’ve mentioned on this list, NicheHacks is the most addictive.
If you are just getting started, I highly recommend NicheHacks. The content here is just incredible.
Jennifer | PotPieGirl
I found this blog after searching for some very specific things and I’m so glad I did.
PotPieGirl is run by Jennifer and she’s been doing internet marketing for the last 10+ years.
I love the real down to earth advice shared here and although she’s kept that classic look on her website, the information she puts out is new and very beneficial to SEO and internet business owners alike.
Jennifer is also one of those rare online marketers that specializes in Pinterest marketing. She offers a course on it as well.
If I ever need any help with Pinterest, PotPieGirl is who I will reach out too.
My only suggestion for her is she should change her name from PotPieGirl to TrafficGirl because she had pulled in some immense numbers from Pinterest.
Terry Kyle | Traffic Planet
No Terry isn’t last here for any reason. In fact Terry has been on the internet probably the most longest out of all the people here.
If you really want to learn what makes Google move, you need to get in touch with Terry. He is literally Google’s Algorithm in the flesh.
I’m not going to lie, some of his information is even way too advanced for (Terry’s technical game is on a whole another level). Like CloudHosting and constantly reverse engineering things on Google. As an SEO, I would love to be at Terry’s level someday.
He’s got the SEO game on lock and his coding game is on point as well. DEADLY combination. Oh and besides his work, his dog is pretty famous too :). Check out Traffic Planet if you would like to learn more.
